Sewage Treatment Plant Project Engineer

Key Responsibilities

1. Project Planning & Execution

• Oversee the design, construction, and commissioning of sewage treatment plants.
• Develop technical specifications, project timelines, and budget estimates .
• Coordinate with contractors, vendors, and government authorities for project approvals.
• Ensure quality control, safety, and compliance with environmental regulations .

2. Engineering & Technical Support

• Conduct site assessments, feasibility studies, and risk analyses .
• Supervise installation of treatment units, pumps, pipelines, and control systems .
• Optimize plant operations for efficiency, sustainability, and cost-effectiveness .
• Troubleshoot and resolve mechanical, electrical, and process-related issues .

3. Regulatory & Environmental Compliance

• Ensure compliance with PCB (Pollution Control Board), CPCB, and ISO standards .
• Monitor wastewater quality, sludge management, and discharge parameters .
• Prepare and submit environmental impact assessments and project reports .

4. Team Coordination & Documentation

• Work with engineers, supervisors, and field technicians to ensure smooth operations.
• Maintain project documentation, including drawings, manuals, and reports .
• Provide training to operators and maintenance teams .
